      Dizzlecombe Stone Row - Dartmoor

Down in the Drizzlecombe Valley are the remnants of a prehistoric ritual centre comprising of standing stones, a stone row, barrows and kistvaens. For thousands of years these ancient granite stones have held the secrets of the old men of the moor. The actual name of the valley, Drizzlecombe, is said to derive from the old moorland name of Drishel - a thrush and cum - a valley which meant 'valley of the thrush'. Drizzlecombe has quite a number of  these Bronze age stone rows, cairns and menhirs. Most of these are found on the southwest slope of Hartor hill. The most interesting include a standing stone that is the largest on Dartmoor.

All Limited Edition prints are high quality giclee prints, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity. The prints  are hand signed and numbered by the artist,  then  hinge mounted
