  PRODUCT INFORMATION

All these Limited Editions are produced by hand in Devon by Craig and his wife Natasha. We feel by being involved every step of the way means  better quality and better value, everything from printing the work, and cutting the mounts to running this website are all done in house.

All images are printed using an Epson 4800 Professional A2 giclee printer. The combination of Epson K3 pigment inks and archival matt paper gives rich vibrant colours with outstanding lightfastness up to 75 years. All Limited Editions come with a certificate of authenticity

We also offer a Giclee printing service, click here for more info: Giclee printing

Once numbered and signed by Craig the print is then hinge mounted onto Aquadia conservation mountboard using acid free mounting tape, then backed with Corri-Cor acid free backboard.

These steps are important as the hinging system allows the print to hang free therefore enabling it to expand and contract with temperature changes. Also it has minimum impact on the print itself, so in years to come if you wish to re- mount or re-frame, the artwork can easily be removed from its mount

All materials we use are acid free, this is very important as acid can lead to discolouration , foxing and acid burns on the image.

The mountboard we use is Aquadia conservation mountboard

The backing board we use is Corri - Cor , which is buffered with calcium carbonate guaranteed acid free for 300 years, it also has a waxy finish on the outside to resist moisture. When framing, use backing board supplied rather than mdf or similar as these are not acid free

the tape we use is ph7 acrylic adhesive mounting tape, which is easily removed with citrus based removal agent, ask a qualified framer.

We take every care that these prints will remain bright and fresh for years to come, the technologies that are emerging in the world of fine art reproduction are having a great impact. But please remember care is still needed as no process is foolproof. Keep out of direct sunlight, and avoid humid conditions as theses are two of the most  critical elements, there are options such as uv resistant glass which can have a very dramatic effect on the lifespan of an image. Seek a professional framer for more info . we
